入寮可能日より前に、入寮することはできますか？ Will I be able to check in the dormitory before the first available check-in date?

いいえ。決められた入寮日前の入寮は一切出来ません。 NO. You may not check in at the dormitory before the check-in date,WHATSOEVER.

Q2

私の国からは、5時までに成田空港に到着する飛行機はありません。その代わり、成田空港に遅く到着する飛行機はあります。午後９時３０分以降も入寮することはできますか？ There is no flight which arrives at Narita by 5:00 p.m. from my country. Instead, there is a flight which will arrive at Narita very late. Will I be able to check in the dormitory after 9:30 p.m?.

大きな荷物を持っていくのですが、どなたか運ぶのを手伝ってくれますか？ I will bring a large piece of luggage with me. Will you send someone to help me carry?

いいえ。ピックアップサービスでは、荷物を運ぶのは手伝いません。お手伝いするのは、成田空港で新宿駅までの電車に乗るときと、新宿駅から寮までの道を案内するときです。荷物がたくさんある場合は、成田空港から寮に送ってください。通常郵送には１日かかります。 No. We do not arrange the pick-up service to carry the luggage. We only support you at the Narita and to guide the way to the dormitory from Shinjuku Station. Please send your suitcase or the luggage from Narita Airport to the dormitory. スリッパを持ってこなくてはいけませんか？ Do I need to bring a pair of slippers?

はい。日本では、寮に入るには靴を脱がなくてはいけません。寮内では、スリッパを履いてください。 Yes. In Japan, you need to take your shoes off when you enter the dormitory. In the dormitory, you need to wear your own slippers.

寮で生活するには何を準備したらいいですか？ What do I need to prepare to live in the dormitory?

寮には机、いす、ベッド、布団、シーツ、枕が用意されています。それ以外に必要だと思うものは、自分で用意してください。 We only provide you with a desk, chair, bed, futon, pillow and linen. For other items, please bring them in if you think they are necessary on your own responsibility.

寮ではパソコンが使えますか？ラップトップを自分で持ってこなくてはいけないですか？ Can I use the PC in my dorm room? Do I need to have the laptop with me?

はい。もし自分の部屋でインターネットをつなぎたい場合は、ラップトップを持ってきてください。 Yes. If you want to connect to the internet in your room, you will need your own laptop.

寮費はどのように支払いますか？１度に１年間分の支払いをしなくてはいけないですか？ How will I pay the dorm fee? Do I need to pay for all the payment at once?

寮費は、１ヶ月ごとに支払います。日本で銀行口座を作って支払いをしますので、1度に支払う必要はありません。寮費の支払いについては、来日してから行われるオリエンテーションで説明します。 No. You need to pay the dorm fee by month. You will be required to open your bank account in Japan for the payment. You will be informed about the payment at the first orientation held in Waseda.

まだ宿舎をどうしたらいいか決められません。もし一度大学寮に申し込んだあとキャンセルし、アパートに住むことになったら、キャンセル料は取られますか？ I still can not decide my accommodation. If I apply for the dormitory and then change my mind to live in the apartment, do you charge the cancellation fee?

はい、キャンセル料がかかります。光熱水費を含む１ヶ月分の寮費を支払わなくてはなりません。原則、一度提出された宿舎アンケートは変更できません。 Yes, you need to pay the cancellation fee. You have to pay for one month dorm fee including the utility fee cancel. Basically, we do not accept any changes after the HQ is delivered.

私はアパートを見つけたいと思っています。どなたかアパートを探すのを手伝ってくれますか？ I am planning to find an apartment. Will you help me to find one?

A10

いいえ。ご自分で探してください。ただし、CIEオフィス（留学センター）の掲示板で宿舎情報を確認することはできます。 No. Please find one on your own, though you may get some housing information on the CIE (Center for International Education) bulletin board.

妻/夫と共に来日します。夫婦部屋を手配してくれますか？ I am coming with my wife or husband. Will you arrange a room for the couple?

いいえ。単身部屋しか提供できません。ご自分で夫婦で住める部屋を探してください。 We only provide rooms for single. Please find an apartment for two on your own.

Q12

成田空港からの交通費は自分で用意しなくてはいけませんか？ Am I responsible for the transportation fee from the airport?

はい。空港からの交通費は支給されません。空港で十分な両替をしてください。 Yes. We do not cover your transportation fee from the airport. Please exchange enough JP yen at the airport.

両親が一緒に来日します。彼らも一緒に何日か寮に泊まれますか？ My parents are flying with me. Can they stay at your dormitory for a couple of days?

いいえ。家族やお友達のお部屋は用意できませんので、ご自身で手配してください。 No. We do not have rooms for your families/friends.

Q14

寮を選択できますか？私は××寮に住みたいのですが。 Can I choose a dormitory? I want to stay in ×× dormitory.

いいえ。宿舎空き状況やあなたの宿舎アンケートをもとにアレンジしますので、こちらの決定に従ってください。 No. We will arrange your accommodation based on the availabilities of each dormitory.
